Target Strategy
AIM
Target will deliver assistance for young adults in gaining and maintaining employment. Target will run for a minimum of 12 weeks and allow participants to develop skills that will assist them in securing long term employment or further training opportunities. The Programme will provide participants with a range of skills and experiences to enhance their ability to enter the labour market and obtain sustainable employment.
INTENDED OUTCOMES
Course participants will learn how to prepare a CV, be prepared for an interview, improve their literacy and numeracy skills, and improve budgeting, cooking and practical skills.
When we feel the client is ready there would be the opportunity to go on a work placement in order to gain valuable on the job experience. During this time there would be full support from Target staff to assist in any personal or employment issues.
